Named for the latitude that anchors Greenwich, 41° North serves primarily Greenwich-based institutions, organizations, and private clients navigating consequential land use decisions, where judgement and credibility matter as much as technical expertise, and early planning insight can meaningfully influence outcomes.
While 41° North operates as an independent planning practice, it was established in a collaborative partnership with Redniss & Mead, a Fairfield County-based land use consulting firm with expertise in civil engineering, land surveying, planning, zoning, and permitting. The partnership reflects a longstanding professional relationship and shared approach to complex land use work. This relationship offers access to trusted technical resources when appropriate. 41° North regularly collaborates with a diverse network of design and engineering professionals from across the region.

Michele A. Cronin, AICP is the Co-Founder and President of 41° North Land Use Advisors, a boutique planning consultancy providing strategic land use guidance for residential, institutional, cultural, and commercial projects primarily in Greenwich, Connecticut.
A Greenwich Native
Michele brings both professional expertise and lifelong familiarity with the community to her work. For nearly two decades, she has served as a trusted advisor on many of Greenwich’s most complex and visible projects, helping clients navigate the town’s planning and zoning process with thoughtful strategy and careful coordination among project teams, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders.
Prior to co-founding 41° North Land Use Advisors, Michele served as Planning Director at Fogarty Cohen & Nemiroff, where she worked alongside Bruce Fogarty, widely regarded as one of Greenwich’s leading real estate and land use attorneys. In that role, she collaborated closely with attorneys, architects, engineers, and property owners to advance complex development initiatives and long-term planning strategies across the community.
Michele holds a B.A. in Political Science from Tulane University, with a minor in Urban Sociology, is a Certified Planner (AICP), and a member of the American Planning Association (National and Connecticut chapters).
